At Proserv, we aim to develop our business around a valued and motivated workforce that encourages personal development and allows our people to flourish and realise their fullest potential.Role SynopsisFinance Assistant is a fundamental support to the Finance function & the wider business ensuring company procedures and accounting standards are constantly met.Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)Registering invoices received in organised and timely manner including maintenance of “accounts payable” mailboxMatch and subsequently process purchase orders against received invoices; where there are variances between purchase order and invoice investigate and resolve issuesProcessing purchase invoices received, where no purchase order exists, including verification of coding and application of taxesLiaising with local business teams to resolving invoice queriesPromote quick and accurate processing of supplier invoice by preparing and issuing report to business teams surrounding pending or open times for reviewInputting information into Microsoft AX accounting systemTake ownership for supplier accounts by checking and reconciling supplier statements and dealing with any queries arisingProcessing payment runs on a weekly basisPerform any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirementsCompliance RequirementsProserv have a Business Ethics Policy (‘the policy’) which provides guidance to all employees in their day to day roles as well as helping you and the business comply with the law at all times.
